(Insert Family Here)
Did you know that trying to get a 2 year old to take a picture with the family is nearly impossible? I tried everything I could think of to get him to sit with us or even on his own in his cute little hat and funny Dear Santa shirt, but no, he just cried and screamed and yelled and threw himself on the floor, he would rather be the one TAKING the picture. Go figure. So this year the Christmas picture will be of Mark with Pudge. I am not including a picture of myself because I am fat, I have eaten too many of my chocolate chip cookies and Nate's birthday cake and now I need to lose 40 pounds! So I will be exercising on the Wii Fit for my birthday and wishing I could eat a Cold Stone Creamery Cake (drooling right now thinking about it!)....So anyhow, if you're on our Christmas Card list try not to be too disappointed maybe next year when Nate is 3 and not hell bent on being naughty, he'll join us! :)

I totally understand your pain. We got really lucky this year with our pictures! Maybe next year!
ReplyDeleteIt's even harder to get a teenager to cooperate! Sad. No picture for us this year either:(
ReplyDeleteHaaa haa I was thinking it would just be the chair!! Wish I was there to help take some!! :) Love ya
ReplyDeletehey, you get an A for effort though! I almost think it's cute like that and saying...insert photo of Nate here. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm right there with you. We had to take our yearly family photos (professional) last week. My three year old was good for the most part - but eventually just got flat out bored of the whole situation. My two year old, however, was a whole other story. He didn't want to smile, and then insisted on having his damn paci (which i don't want to hear about, "why does your two year old still have a paci in this pic?" ugh) I eventually had to stick this shiny silver sticker with a skate boarder on it to calm him down, and you can see it in every picture, and half the time he isn't smiling. Then I get the pics and half of them make me look like a freaking cow. I ordered maybe three that had me in them. Yuck!
ReplyDeleteWe'll lose the weight girl! Then feel good about taking pics next year, lol, hopefully!
First the pic, hold large sucker right behind the camera, act like you are going to eat it (if he isn't good) he'll sit still.
ReplyDeletenext the weight, screw it, you'll be up and down your whole life, just don't stay up too long...if up is unhealthy.Believe me, we're not all Nicole Richie (drugs and starvetion don't fit everybody).
Third....you're way cool girl, keep it up!
Or starvation if you want me to win the spelling bee.
ReplyDeleteCan I say I HEART you! ((HUGS for you today too))
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteHooray for having the same background!
Thanks for checking out my blog! LOL I think you should just send the picture of the empty chair. Too funny!!! Oh, and yummmm about the coldstone cake...I'm ordering one today for Christmas---the chocolate peppermint kind!
