I've been bad

I have been MIA I know, but I have a good excuse, I have been looking for a job and finally found one..a GREAT one. Now as soon as I get medical clearance proving I'm not a crazy person I will start in May..lol..yes that's right, I need medical FING clearance because I'm Bi-Polar. Who knew? LOL...So anyway, I'll jump through their hoops cause it really is a good job. School is going well, learning all about fallacies and deductive reasoning and inductive reasoning and my head is going to pop off, but otherwise all is well. So anyway, here is a "photo-dump" if you will...

Easter

This particular holiday makes me a little melancholy...I miss my grandma and my family, we used to get together and have a big dinner and now we're all spread out and my grandma passed 2 years ago this month so it's not the same...anyway...I hope that everyone, no matter your beliefs, enjoys this holiday weekend!

I found this fun Tuesday posting to do so I figured I would share with you! The rules are post a picture that takes you way back and then tell the story about the picture, then head on over to A Giveaway Addicted Mommy and sign the Mr. Linky :)

My picture that takes me way back:

I am the brunette, or the first girl and the other 2 girls were my BFF's in 9th grade...this picture is 16 years old... Why are we all dressed up? Well, we were going to a dance for school called Girls Reverse, we got to ask a boy and then pay for everything..lol..So, my BFF's and I all asked boys that were friends so we could do the fun groups date!

Turns out the boys we asked didn't really want to go so they stood us up...this was the picture before we knew we were being stood up.. It didn't dawn on us until about 9:30 pm that no one was coming to get us and we had missed pretty much the whole dance. We ended up calling a friend to come and get us and we went to eat a really late dinner just us girls and had fun anyway. What I wouldn't give to go back in time and give that A-Hole a piece of my mind..lol..

That's the story of this picture :) And I wish I looked that skinny still..lol.. :)

A Good Day...Looks Like This...

Changes

I am thinking about deleting some of my past posts, I am of the mindset that since I have started a new blog, I should start fresh..what do you think?

I also get to make some heavy duty health changes, so if anyone knows some great recipes that are really healthy that don't include butter (the real kind) and sugar and flour and all the stuff that makes things super yummy..lol..type 2 diabetes has taken over my body, along with hypothyroidism, so that at least explains why I have THE hardest time losing weight.

So, in honor of my new found healthy life changes I need to get rid of the chocolate chips that are sitting on my counter begging to be baked...anyone care for some cookies? No contest, just whoever wants some cookies let me know and I'll send some your way, I need to get rid of the sugar, flour and chocolate chips... (heart breaking..tears...) Ok enough wallowing!

I will focus on the positive..losing weight and becoming healthier! So, off to stroll through bloggyland now....enjoy your day bloggy friends...
